excessive milk
According to Samuel, milk contains a complete nutrition, including protein, calcium, and essential fatty acids for the body. However, the milk could have adverse effects when consuming every day to make someone become excess intake of protein.

"We know, in the milk it contains protein. If one were excessive protein consumption, he will pull calcium from the bones,"
he said on Friday (05/27/2011) in Jakarta.

Samuel explained, the protein needs of normal people between 0.8 grams and 1.5 grams per kg of body weight. However, if in pain conditions, the protein can be administered to 1.5 grams per kg, even 2 grams per kg of body weight.

"It means if you weigh 60 kg, maximum (needs protein) 120 grams a day. If you drink milk, for example up to 10 cups a day, meaning it 60-70 grams. In fact, you need 100 grams, and you still eat rice, chicken, fish. This means you will be excess (protein). If excess, calcium will gradually be withdrawn from the bone,"
he said.

If so, we cant to mean that milk is the only one that cause the osteoporosis, because we also get much benefits from milk.

Samuel added that the cause of osteoporosis is not because someone calcium deficiency alone, but due to many factors.

"Osteoporosis is a lot of factors. Like the sun, impact, activity, it will further strengthen the bones,"
he said.
